Installing on Windows XP

After you physically connect the drive as shown in Figure 3, the Found New
Hardware Wizard screen displays. Click
Cancel
to bypass the wizard.
Note:
The WD SmartWare software will install the appropriate driver for this
drive.
2.
If Autorun (AutoPlay) is enabled on your computer, the Welcome to WD SmartWare
screen displays. If a Flash Player is installed on your computer, the screen is
animated. Continue to step 4.
