CVP-501 First pull the music rest up and toward yourself as far as it will go, flip down the two metal supports at the left and right on the rear of the music rest, then lower the music rest so that it rests on the metal supports. CAUTION Do not try to use the music rest in a half-raised position. Starting Up To lower the music rest, first pull the music rest toward yourself as far as it will go, raise the two metal supports, then gently lower the music rest backward until it is all the way down. Using Headphones Connect a pair of headphones to one of the [PHONES] jacks located on the bottom left of the instrument. Two sets of standard stereo headphones can be connected. (If you are using only one pair of headphones, you can plug them into either of these jacks.). CVP-509/505/503 INPUT VOLUME MIN MAX MIC. LINE IN MIC. LINE PHONES CVP-501 CAUTION Do not listen with the headphones at high volume for long periods of time. Doing so may cause hearing loss. Standard phone plug Using the Headphone Hanger A headphone hanger is included in the instrument package so that you can hang the headphones on the instrument. Install the headphone hanger using included two screws (4 x 10mm) as shown in the figure. CVP-509/505 CVP-503/501 CAUTION Do not hang anything other than the headphones on the hanger.
