PROGRAM PLAY You can enjoy listening to your favorite tracks in any desired order by programming tracks. As many as 40 tracks can be programmed in sequence. TAPE CLEAR PROG 2, 4 REPEAT RANDOM 1 2 3 4 5 6 3 7 8 9 5 0 +I0 INDEX 1 1 Press to stop the unit. 3 Program a desired track by pressing the corresponding 6 numeric button. 2 Press PROG. PROG CDX-596 PROGRAM Blinks. CDX-496, CDX-396 PROGRAM TOTAL Blinks. Repeat this operation to program more tracks. You can select the same track again. 4 When programming is finished, press PROG. PROG 5 Press to begin play. Display information during programming CDX-596 1 PROGRAM 6 2 PROGRAM 3 6 CDX-496, CDX-396 PROGRAM TOTAL 4 1 2 4 PROGRAM TOTAL E-14 3 1 Shows the program number for the track to be programmed next. 2 Shows the selected track number. 3 Shows only the numbers of programmed tracks. 4 Shows the total time of the tracks currently programmed. * If the total time becomes 100 minutes or more, the first digit will not be displayed. Notes ● If, during programming, TIME is pressed, the program number display can be changed to display the total time of the programmed tracks. To return to the previous display, press TIME once again. ● / ( SKIP/SEARCH ) can be used during playing, but only within the range of the programmed tracks. ● / ( SKIP/SEARCH ) can be used during playing to search all tracks, including unprogrammed tracks.
