Setup Menu The setup is carried out via the TV, enabling you to customize the DVD Player to suit your particular requirements. 1 Press SETUP. 2 Press 4 • to select 'General Setup' icon. 3 Press ENTER/OK to confirm. i GENERALSETUPPAGE Selecting mode DVD-Audio/Video In 'GENERAL SETUP PAGE', press AT to highlight {DVD-AUDIO}, then press •. DVD-AUDIO MODE Select this for normal playback. DVD-VIDEO MODE Select this to playback the DVD-Video contents, Press AT to select a setting, then press ENTER/OK to confirm your selection. Notes: - TheDVD-AUDlOindicatorlightsupwhena DVD-Audio disc is playing. - When you select DVD-VIDEO MODE, the DVD-AUDIO indicator turns off Locking/Unlocking the disc for viewing Not all discs are rated or coded by the disc maker. You can prevent a specific disc from playing by locking the disc. Up to 40 discs can be locked. | In 'GENERAL SETUP PAGE', press AT to highlight {DISC LOCK}, then press •. LOCK Select this to block the playback of the current disc. Subsequent access to a locked disc requires six-digit password. The default password is '000 000' (see page 29 "Changing the Password"). UNLOCK Select this to unlock the disc and allow future playback, 2 Press AV to select a setting, then press ENTER/OK to confirm your selection. Programming disc tracks and discs Program: Track (not for Picture C DIM P3/SA-C D/VVMAJDivX ®) You can play the contents of the disc in the order you want by programming the tracks to be played. Up to 20 tracks can be stored. In 'GENERAL SETUP PAGE', press AV to highlight {PROGRAM}, then press • to select {FTS}. Press ENTER/OK to confirm. 21
