TROUBLESHOOTING Refer to the chart below if the client does not function properly after installation. If the problem you are experiencing is not listed below or if the instruction below does not help, disconnect the power cord, and contact the nearest authorized YAMAHA dealer or service center. Problem The client does not operate as described in this manual. The Auto Configuration process does not appear to work correctly. You cannot start playback on the client. Cause The MusicCAST system firmware has not been upgraded. Remedy Upgrade the MusicCAST system firmware on the server. The network is not configured Check the network settings on the correctly. server. The server is not set to Auto Configuration mode. Set the server to Auto Configuration mode. The server is storing songs or Stop recording and start the Auto recording. Configuration process again. There is more than one DHCP server in the network trying to use the same IP address. Deactivate the server DHCP function. Auto Configuration is not complete. The network is not configured correctly. Run the Auto Configuration process. Check the network settings of the client and server. The server is turned off. Turn on the server. The server's hard disk drive does not contain any songs that have been fully encoded in MP3 format. Register songs stored from external components to the library, or wait until the server completes encoding songs in MP3 format.
