Appendix About MIDI MIDI is an acronym that stands for Musical Instrument Digital Interface, which allows electronic musical instruments to communicate with each other, by sending and receiving compatible Note, Control Change, Program Change and various other types of MIDI data, or messages. This synthesizer can control other MIDI devices by transmitting note related data and various types of controller data. It can also be controlled by incoming MIDI messages which automatically determine the tone generator mode, select MIDI channels, voices and effects, change parameter values, and of course play the voices specified for the various Parts. For detailed information of the MIDI messages that can be handled by the MOX6/MOX8, see the "Data List" PDF document. For details on MIDI, see the "Synthesizer Parameter Manual" PDF document. This section explains only information specific to the MOX6/MOX8. • Channel Mode Messages Reset All Controllers (Control No. 121) The following parameters are affected: ControllerSet LFOBoxSet Pitch Bend Aftertouch Modulation Expression Sustain Sostenuto Portamento Foot Controller Ribbon Controller Breath Controller Assign Knob Assign Switch RPN NRPN Disabled Disabled 64 0 (off) 0 (off) 127 (Max) 0 (off) 0 (off) Cancels the Portamento source key number 127 64 127 64 0 Number not specified; internal data will not be changed.
