Troubleshooting Problem Possible cause Remedy The DAB radio reception strength is poor, and noise (such as hiss, crackle and jitter) can be heard. The DAB information cannot be displayed or is inaccurate. The DAB radio signal is weak. The DAB station may be temporarily out of service, or the DAB station information is not provided by the DAB broadcaster. Change the antenna height, direction, or place of installation. Contact the DAB broadcaster. See page 13 ― ■ Bluetooth Problem The unit cannot connect to a Bluetooth device. No sound can be heard, or the sound cuts off intermittently. Possible cause Remedy The Bluetooth function is disabled. The unit is connected to a different Bluetooth device. The unit is too far from the Bluetooth device. A device emitting electromagnetic waves (such as a microwave oven and a wireless device) may be located nearby. The Bluetooth device does not support the A2DP protocol. The connection profile registered in the Bluetooth device may not be functioning correctly for some reason. The passkey on the Bluetooth adapter or other device may be set to a code besides "0000". The volume on the Bluetooth device is too low. The sound output on the Bluetooth device may not be set to this unit. The connection to the Bluetooth device is cut off. The unit is too far from the Bluetooth device. A device emitting electromagnetic waves (such as a microwave oven and a wireless device) may be located nearby. In the "Setup" menu, set "Bluetooth (On/Off)" to "On". Disconnect the current Bluetooth connection and connect with the desired Bluetooth device. Move the Bluetooth device closer to this unit. Do not use this unit near devices that emit electromagnetic waves. Use a Bluetooth device that supports the A2DP protocol. Delete the connection profile in the Bluetooth device, and then connect the Bluetooth device to this unit. Use a Bluetooth device on which the passkey is set to "0000". Raise the volume on the Bluetooth device. Select this unit as the output destination on the Bluetooth device. Reconnect with the Bluetooth device. Move the Bluetooth device closer to this unit.
