Syncing the unit to a MADI input signal
NOTE
If the unit acts as the clock slave on the Dante network, input to
the unit the same MADI clock used for the device that is the
clock master. You can use Dante Controller (available from the
following website) to check which device is the current clock
master.
Using an external clock on MADI-compatible
devices, and syncing the unit to a different
external clock:
NOTE
• The same external clock supplied to MADI-compatible
devices must be input to [WCLK IN FOR SRC] on the unit.
• If the unit acts as the clock slave on the Dante network, input
to the unit the same external clock used for the device that is
the clock master. You can use Dante Controller (available
from the following website) to check which device is the
current clock master.
Displaying the MADI Input
and Output Signals
The frame format and number of channels for the MADI
input signal or output signal are displayed in the MADI
[STATUS] area.
Use the MADI [STATUS] INPUT/OUTPUT key to switch
between the input signal display and the output signal
display.
Remote Control
You can use the RMio64-D remote control to configure
items that cannot be configured from the unit’s panel,
such as individual settings for MADI SRC input/output
controls and setting the MADI output to a different format
than the MADI input.
NOTE
For the latest information about remote control compatible
devices, refer to the Yamaha Pro Audio website:
