SELECTING AN INPUT MODE SELECTING AN INPUT MODE You can select the type of input signals you want this unit to use. INPUT VOLUME + STANDBY/ON TV MUTE TV INPUT TV DVD SLEEP AUX VCR • AUTO Automatically selects input signals in the following order: 1) Digital signals 2) Analog signals Use this input mode in most cases. • DTS Selects only digital signals encoded in DTS. Compared to AUTO, this input mode provides greater stability during playback. Use this input mode when playing DTS-CD or DTS-LD discs • ANALOG Selects analog signals when both digital and analog signals are input simultaneously. y You can adjust the default input mode this unit selects when the power is turned on (see page 44). Press and hold INPUT on the front panel, or an input selector button on the remote control. When you press these buttons, you can confirm the currently selected input mode. OPERATION
You can select the type of input signals you want this unit to use.
Press and hold INPUT on the front panel, or
an input selector button on the remote
control.
When you press these buttons, you can confirm the
currently selected input mode. By pressing and
holding them, you can adjust input mode settings.
The setting for VCR is ANALOG.
AUTO
Automatically selects input signals in the following order:
1) Digital signals
2) Analog signals
Use this input mode in most cases.
DTS
Selects only digital signals encoded in DTS.
Compared to AUTO, this input mode provides greater
