Chapter 27 DHCP The following table describes the labels in this screen. Table 73 IP Application > DHCP > VLAN LABEL DESCRIPTION VID Enter the ID number of the VLAN to which these DHCP settings apply. Remote Enter the IP address of a DHCP server in dotted decimal notation. DHCP Server 1 .. 3 Relay Agent Information Select the Option 82 check box to have the Switch add information (slot number, port number and VLAN ID) to client DHCP requests that it relays to a DHCP server. Click Cancel to begin configuring this screen afresh. Click this to clear the fields above. This field displays the ID number of the VLAN group to which this DHCP settings apply. This field displays Relay for the DHCP mode. This field displays the first remote DHCP server IP address. Select the configuration entries you want to remove and click Delete to remove them. Click Cancel to clear the Delete check boxes. 27.4.1 Example: DHCP Relay for Two VLANs The following example displays two VLANs (VIDs 1 and 2) for a campus network.
