Chapter 27 Printer Table 146 Configuration > Printer > General Setting > General (continued) LABEL DESCRIPTION Edit Double-click an entry or select it and click Edit to open a screen where you can modify the entry's settings. Remove To remove an entry, select it and click Remove. The UAG confirms you want to remove it before doing so. Activate To turn on an entry, select it and click Activate. Inactivate To turn off an entry, select it and click Inactivate. # This field is a sequential value, and it is not associated with any entry. Status This icon is lit when the entry is active and dimmed when the entry is inactive. IPv4 Address This field displays the IP address of the printer. Description This field displays the descriptive name for the printer. Printer Firmware Information Current Version This is the version of the printer firmware currently uploaded to the UAG. The UAG automatically installs it in the connected printers to make sure the printers are upgraded to the same version. Apply Click this button to save your changes to the UAG. Reset Click this button to return the screen to its last-saved settings. 27.2.1 Add/Edit Printer Rule Click the Add icon or select an entry in the Printer > General Setting > General screen and click the Edit icon to open the following screen. Use this screen to add a new printer or modify the printer's settings. Table 147 Configuration > Printer > General Setting > General: Add/Edit LABEL Enable Printer Manager IPv4 Address DESCRIPTION Select this option to turn on this entry in order to allow the UAG to manage this printer. Enter an IPv4 address for the printer. Description OK Cancel This field is read-only if you are editing an existing entry. Enter a description of this printer. You can use alphanumeric and characters, and it can be up to 60 characters long. Click OK to save your changes back to the UAG. Click Cancel to exit this screen without saving.
