What to Use Use a mixture of one-half clean water (preferably DEX-COOL@ coolant which distilled) and one-half won't damage aluminumparts. If you use this mixture, you don't need to add anything else. NOTICE: If you use improper coolant mixture, your an engine couldoverheat and be badly damaged. The repair cost wouldn'tbe covered by your warranty. Too much water in the mixture can freeze and crack the engine, radiator, heater core and otherparts. If you have to add coolant more than four times a year, have your dealer check your cooling system. Adding onlyplain water to your cooling system can be dangerous. Plain water, or some other liquid like alcohol,can boil beforethe proper coolant mixture will. Your vehicle'scoolant warning system is set the proper for coolant mixture. With plain water or the wrong mixture, your engine could get too but you wouldn't hot get the overheat warning. Your engine could catch fire andyou or others could beburned. Use a 50/50 mixture of clean water and DEX-COOL@coolant. NOTICE: If you use the propercoolant, you don't haveto add extra inhibitors or additives which claim to improve the system.
