MAINTAINING YOUR VEHICLE 91 WARNING! • The warning graphic that appears on the cooling system pressure cap is a safety precaution for "DO NOT OPEN HOT". Never add coolant (antifreeze) when the engine is overheated. Do not loosen or remove the cap to cool an overheated engine. Heat causes pressure to build up in the cooling system. To prevent scalding or injury, do not remove the pressure cap while the system is hot or under pressure. • Do not use a pressure cap other than the one specified for your vehicle. Personal injury or engine damage may result. Maintain coolant (antifreeze) concentration at a minimum of 50% MOPAR௡ Antifreeze/Coolant 5 Year/100,000 Mile Formula HOAT (Hybrid Organic Additive Technology) and distilled/deionized water for proper corrosion protection. Check the coolant (antifreeze) level with the engine off. If the coolant (antifreeze) level is below the Cold Fill mark, add coolant until it reaches the MAX level mark. 7 TPIM Coolant Reservoir TPIM Cooling System - Drain, Flush and Refill Refer to "Maintenance Schedules" in Section 7 of this supplement for the proper maintenance intervals.
