Tires, Wheels and Loading Use of a temporary emergency spare tire at any one wheel location can lead to impairment of the following: • Handling, stability and braking performance • Comfort and noise • Ground clearance and parking at curbs • Winter weather driving capability • Wet weather driving capability Location of the spare tire and tools The spare tire and tools for your vehicle are stowed in the following locations: Tool Spare tire Jack, jack handle and lug nut wrench Location Under the vehicle, just forward of the rear bumper Regular Cab: Behind the interior trim on the passenger side of the cab SuperCrew and SuperCab: Under the rear seat on the passenger side Removing the spare tire 1. Use the ignition key to remove the lock cylinder from the access hole of the bumper to allow access to the guide tube.
