ENGINEOIL AND OIL FILTER CHANGE* -ALWAYSUSESGOR SG/CE QUALITY, ENERGYCONSERVING II OILS OF THE PROPER VISCOSITY. To determinethepreferredviscosityoilforyourvehicle's engine(e.9. SAE 5W-30 or 10W-30), see"Engine Oil" in theIndex. 2. CHASSIS LUBRICATION -Lubricatethefrontsuspension, king pin bushings,steeringlinkage,transmission,andtransfercaseshiftlinkage, parkingbrakecableguides,propshaftsplines (2 wheeldrive),brake pedalsprings,andclutchpedalspringsattheintervalsspecified. If youhavea 3500 HD, lubricatethekingpinsandkingpinbushings every 1,500 miles (2500 km)forMaintenanceSchedule 1, or every 3,000 (5000 km)forMaintenanceSchedule 2.
