Mazda MPV_8U61-EA-05G_Edition1 Page172 Tuesday, June 21 2005 9:34 AM Black plate (172,1) Driving Your Mazda Warning/Indicator Lights and Beep Sounds qCruise Set Indicator Light í Beep Sounds qSeat Belt Warning Beep If the driver's seat belt is not fastened when the ignition switch is turned to the ON position, a beep sound will be heard for about 6 seconds. This light comes on when a cruising speed is set. qIgnition Key Reminder If the ignition switch is in the LOCK or ACC position with the key inserted, a continuous beep sound will be heard when the driver's door is opened. qTurn-Signal/Hazard Warning Indicator Lights qLights-On Reminder If lights are on and the key is removed from the ignition switch, a continuous beep sound will be heard when the driver's door is opened. When operating the turn signal lights, the left or right turn signal indicator light flashes to indicate which turn signal light is operating (page 5-34). When operating the hazard warning lights, both turn signal indicator lights flash (page 5-38). NOTE qPower Sliding Door Beep í The beep sound will be heard according to the power sliding door operation. If there is a malfunction in the power sliding door system, a beep sound will be heard continuously. If this happens, press the power sliding doors main switch to the OFF position and the beep sound will stop. Consult an Authorized Mazda Dealer to have the power sliding doors checked. Refer to Power Sliding Doors on page 3-12. If an indicator light remains illuminated (does not flash) or if it flashes abnormally, one of the turn signal bulbs may be burned out. 5-32 í Some models.
