AUTOMATIC DRIVE POSITIONER (if so equipped) AUTOMATIC DRIVE POSITIONER OPERATION This system is designed so that the driver's seat, outside mirror and pedals (Brake, Accelerator) will automatically move when the selector lever is in the P (Park) position. This allows the driver to get in and out of the driver's seat more easily. When one of the following conditions is met, the driver's seat will slide backward while the selector lever is in the P (Park) position: ¼ When the key is removed from the ignition switch. ¼ When the driver's door is opened with the key turned to LOCK. ¼ When the key is turned from ACC to LOCK with the driver's door open. When one of the following conditions is met while the selector lever is in the P (Park) position, the driver's seat will return to the positions before being set. ¼ When the key is inserted into the ignition switch. ¼ When the driver's door is closed with the key turned to LOCK. ¼ When the key is turned from ACC to ON.
