Throttling - Closed Loop/Throttling - Open Loop: Throttling improves reliability and reduces power in the processor by automatic voltage control during processor idle states. If Enabled, the following items will appear: • Hysteresis Temperature (For Closed Loop only) - Temperature Hysteresis is the temperature lag (in degrees Celsius) after the set DIMM temperature threshold is reached before Closed Loop Throttling begins. • Guardband Temperature (For the Closed Loop only) - This is the temperature which applies to the DIMM temperature threshold.
