Chapter 5 Windows XP Wireless Zero Configuration Utility To Access Certain Wireless Network Only If you just want to access certain wireless network type, click the Advanced button on the Wireless Networks tab to open the Advanced window. You can choose to connect to the following networks: • Any available network (access point preferred) • Access point (infrastructure) • Computer-to-computer (Peer-to-Peer Group) The default network type is Any available network ( access point preferred). In this network type, your device will connect to any Access Points or Wireless LAN Cards available in the air but Access Point always demands higher connection attempt priority. Once you finish the advanced setting, your wireless station will then connect to your desired network and the connected network will be listed under Available networks. 49
