3. If QIS failed to detect your Internet connection type, follow the steps below to manually configure your connection settings: a) Select the Annex mode that your DSL service uses. NOTES: • Annex A or Annex B mode has multiple modes: Annex A/I/J/L/M or Annex B/J. If your ISP DSLAM offers both Annex A and Annex M mode, QIS automatically set the Annex mode to Annex A/I/J/L/M mode and completes the DSL line setting. • If you want to configure your ASUS xDSL modem router to a specific Annex mode, refer to the section DSL Setting in Chapter 4 of this user guide. 17
