Due to Intel chipset driver support regulation, the AHCI mode is not supported in Windows XP environment. The AHCI mode is only supported by Windows Vista with OS built-in driver. Hard Disk Write Protect [Disabled] Disables or enables device write protection. This will be effective only if device is accessed through BIOS.
