1 2 7 90 Maintenance Attention: Disconnect the machine from the electricity supply by removing the plug from the mains socket. When cleaning the machine. if must always be disconnected from the electricity supply. --- - two hook retaining arms. Insert the bobbin case and bobbin and replace the stitch plate. Important Fabric fluff and threads must be removed regularly. Your machine should be serviced at regular intervats at one of our service agencies. Remove the stitch plate: Turn the handwheel until the needle is hilly raised. Open the hinged front cover and push the release lever upwards. (I) Cleaning the feed dog: Remove the bobbin case (see Page 26) and use the brush supplied to dean the whole area. (2) Cleaning and lubricating the hook: Remove the bobbin case (see Page 26). Snap the two hook retaining arms (31outwards. Remove the hook race cover (4) and the hook (5) and clean with a soft cloth. Lubricate at the points (6) (1-2 drops) with sewing machine oil. Attention:
Disconnect
the
machine
from
the
electricity
supply

remo-
ving
the

from
the

When
cleaning
the
ma-
chine.

must

Remove
the
stitch
plate:
Turn
the
handwheel
until
the

race
cover

and

Turn
the
handwheel
until
the

race

in
trete
Position
Replace
the
hook
(5).
Replace
the
hook
race
cover
and
snap
back
the

Insert
the

and

replace
the
stitch
plate.
Important
Fabric
fluff
and
