IMPORTANT -- This appliance is designed for domestic and not commercial use. -- Only connect and operate the appliance in accordance with the specifications on the rating label. -- Do not use your TASSIMO machine if either the power cord or the appliance is damaged. -- Use indoors at room temperature only. Do not use more than 6560 feet / 2000 meters above sea level. -- Do not let children or persons with reduced mental or sensory abilities or limited knowledge and experience use the appliance, unless they are supervised or have been instructed in the use of the appliance by a person who is responsible for their safety. -- Supervise children to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. -- In the event of a malfunction, unplug the appliance immediately. -- To avoid potential hazards, repairs such as replacing a damaged cord should only be performed by our service personnel. -- Never immerse the appliance or power cord in water. -- Please read this instruction manual and the short cleaning / descaling program instructions carefully and keep them for future reference. -- This instruction manual describes various models. ¡¡ Warning To reduce risk of fire and electric shock: -- Do not remove the side covers. No user serviceable parts inside. -- Repairs should only be carried out by authorized service personnel. -- Do not immerse in any liquid. ¡¡ Caution To avoid the risk of scalding: -- Never open the brewing unit during the brewing, cleaning or descaling process. Doing so could damage the brewer and scalding may occur. -- Always wait until the Status LED F has stopped blinking before attempting to open the brewing unit. -- Please note that the beverages are very hot when dispensed. -- Please exercise caution when opening the brewing unit and handling the T DISC, as some pressure may be released and the T DISC can be hot to the touch. -- Do not use chemically softened water!
