h Troubleshooting Problem T DISC leaked or burst. Water is collecting on the surface below the cup stand. The yellow Service T DISC is damaged or lost. The beverage quantity does not meet your requirements. Cause Blocked filter in T DISC due to use of chemically softened water. This is condensation. The T DISC bar code sends volume information to the appliance appropriate for the beverage selected. However, this information can be individually adapted to personal requirements. Build-up of limescale in the appliance could cause reduced quantity. Solution Check that the water is not treated with sodium based softener. If water is chemically softened, discard water in tank, rinse three times with non-chemically softened water and refill. Start a cleaning process with the Service T DISC. Condensation may appear and is not caused by any fault with the appliance. Wipe the water away with a cloth. The yellow Service T DISC can be purchased from TASSIMO Customer Service Department at 1-877-TDISCS1 (only in the USA) or on www.tassimo.com. Reduced quantity: During the brewing process, press the Start / Stop button to interrupt this stage. Increased quantity: Press and hold the Start / Stop button until the required beverage quantity has been reached. Descale the appliance. Please refer here to the section f Descaling.
