CARRIAGE FEED ADJUSTMENTS [1] 1. Set the carriage feed to the stop position. Move the carriage feed and make sure that the needle and the carriage feed are parallel as illustrated below: O O arallel (Adjustment) * Loosen bolts Q and move carriage feed arm R Q sideways for adjustment. * Loosen bolts 0 and move carriage feed arm L CO for adjustment. • Make sure that the carriage feed is properly adjusted for the material. (Adjustment) Loosen screws and 0 and adjust the angle of carriage feed arms 0 and 0 . Position the material under carriage feed arms and and check the adjustment by pulling the material with the carriage feed holding it. Make sure that the carriage feed holds the material evenly in the front and rear. 1 -37- 00 0
