Turn off the power switch and unplug the power cord. Warning There are high voltage electrodes inside the printer. Take the drum unit out of the printer and put it aside. Warning After you have just used the printer, some internal parts of the printer are extremely hot. Cleaning the Printer Interior and Drum Unit
Clean the printer interior and the drum unit as follows:
1.
Turn off the power switch and unplug the power cord.
Warning
There are high voltage electrodes inside the printer. Before cleaning
the printer, make sure to turn off the power switch and unplug the
power cord from the outlet

Open the top cover of the printer.
3.
Take the drum unit out of the printer and put it aside.
