Editing Embroidery Designs When the check box is cleared The height-to-width proportion of the decorative pattern changes with the height-to-width proportion of the selected embroidery pattern. ■ Ungrouping patterns 1 Select grouped patterns, and then click the [Home] tab. 2 Click [Group] in the [Edit] group, and then click [Ungroup]. b If no pattern is selected, the button will appear as the [Import] button. Clicking this button will import the decorative pattern at its standard size. Grouping/Ungrouping embroidery patterns ■ Grouping patterns 1 Select several patterns, and then click the [Home] tab. 2 Click [Group] in the [Edit] group, and then click [Group]. ■ Editing grouped patterns individually Even after patterns are grouped, they can be edited individually. 1 To select a single pattern within a group, hold down the key while clicking the pattern. 2 Edit the pattern. Hole sewing By specifying hole sewing, the stitching in overlapping regions will not be sewn twice. Hole sewing can be set only when one region completely encloses another.
