Positioning Originals STEP 2 Place the original you intend to scan on the scanner's document glass (platen). Procedures Place the original on the scanner's document glass. Open the cover and set the original face down on scanner's document glass with the top edge pointing into the scanner. Move the edge of the original to the mark for the size of the original. Top Edge Bottom Edge Alignment Mark Close the cover carefully so the original does not shift out of position. Place the original you intend to scan on the scanner's document glass (platen).
Procedures
Place the original on the scanner's document glass.
Open the cover and set the original face down on scanner's document glass with
the top edge pointing into the scanner.
Move the edge of the original to the mark
for the size of the original.
Close the cover carefully so the original does not shift out of position.
