Selecting the Output Device STEP 2 When you select the output device, you set the resolution for the scanned image when it is output. Select a value for printing or for saving a file. If your image is destined to be shown on a computer display or web site, select the 72 dpi setting. Procedures Click the arrow to the right of the output device selection box and select a setting.
