A folder is created automatically in the external medium and is named with a six-digit date (yyddmm) and two-digit number (00 to 99). Inside it, a DCIM folder is created to which all the images are saved. Either select a target folder in the external medium or create a new folder with an eight-character name. Inside it, the images will be saved to the DCIM folder. When creating or selecting a folder, the screen now shows the image of the lowest and highest image file number on the right. When [User setting 2] is set, the image size that has been set for shooting is appended automatically to the file name as the fourth character from the left (ex: xxxx0001.JPG). You can thereby know the image size by seeing the file name instead of having to open the image file. The appended characters are L for Large/RAW, M for Medium1, N for Medium2, and S for sRAW.
