Install Cartridge 1 2 Remove the cartridge from the bag. Keep the bag for future use. 5 Remove the short shipping tape. 6 Pull out the seal completely. NOTE Do not pull out the seal at an angle. 9 Remove the long shipping tape. 10 Open the front cover. 3 Rotate the unlock lever until it clicks. 3 Remove the packing materials. 7 4 Gently rock the cartridge several times to distribute toner inside. 8 Remove the protective cover. 11 Push the release button on the left cover of the main unit to open the left cover. 12 While grasping the handle of the cartridge holder, pull the cartridge holder out of the machine until it stops. Hold the cartridge by its handle, then insert it into the cartridge holder. 4

Install Cartridge

Remove the cartridge from the bag.
Keep the bag for future use.

Remove the short shipping tape.

Remove the packing materials.

Gently rock the cartridge several times to distribute
toner inside.

Pull out the seal completely.
NOTE
Do not pull out the seal at an angle.

Remove the long shipping tape.

Remove the protective cover.

Push the release button on the left cover of the
main unit to open the left cover.

Open the front cover.
10
Rotate the unlock lever until it clicks.

While grasping the handle of the cartridge holder,
pull the cartridge holder out of the machine until it
stops.

Hold the cartridge by its handle, then insert it into
the cartridge holder.
