Preparing the Camera, Basic Functions Switching between Shooting and Replaying You can quickly switch between Shooting mode and Replaying mode. This is convenient when you wish to shoot again after checking or deleting an image immediately after it is shot. 2 Shooting Mode 1 Open the LCD monitor and turn the mode lever to (Replay) while pressing the release button (p. 29). • The camera switches to Replaying mode. In this case, the lens does not retract. (If the mode lever is turned to (Replay) again, the lens retracts.) • To return to Shooting mode, turn the mode lever to (Shooting) while pressing the release button or press the shutter button halfway. 2 Replaying Mode 1 Remove the lens cap. 2 Press the shutter button halfway or turn the mode lever to (Shooting) while pressing the release button (p. 28). Switching between Shooting and Replaying
You can quickly switch between Shooting mode and Replaying mode. This is
convenient when you wish to shoot again after checking or deleting an image
immediately after it is shot.

Shooting Mode

Open the LCD monitor and turn the mode lever to
(Replay)
while pressing the release button (p. 29).
• The camera switches to Replaying mode. In this case, the lens does not
retract. (If the mode lever is turned to
(Replay) again, the lens retracts.)
• To return to Shooting mode, turn the mode lever to
(Shooting) while
pressing the release button or press the shutter button halfway.
