Right-click cimserver service and select start or stop. Or • In the command prompt: To start the service, type: net start cimserver To stop the service, type: net stop cimserver For Linux To start or stop the OpenPegasus CIM server, on a terminal window: To start the service, type: cimserver To stop the service, type: cimserver -s Adding or Removing a Storage Array From SMI-S Provider At installation, you are prompted to enter the IP addresses into a file. After this initial setup, the SMI-enabled client must use the SMI-S Provider proxy server system management profile to add or remove devices. NOTE: When a storage array is added, an IP address of only one of the management ports of the storage array must be supplied (and not both management ports). Starting and Stopping the OpenPegasus CIM

For Windows
To
start

the OpenPegasus CIM server:
Open the
Services

cimserver

Adding or Removing a Storage Array From SMI-S
Provider
At installation, you are prompted to enter the IP addresses into a file. After
this initial setup, the SMI-enabled client must use the SMI-S Provider proxy
