Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer. 2. Remove the battery. 3. Remove the access panel. 4. Use your fingertips to carefully spread apart the securing clips on each end of the first memory module connector until the first module pops up. 5. Slide the first memory module from its socket and remove the module from the computer.

Removing Memory Modules
1.
Follow the procedures in
Before Working Inside Your Computer

2.
Remove the
battery
.
3.
Remove the
access panel
.
4.
Use your fingertips to carefully spread apart the securing clips on each end of the first memory module connector until the first module pops up.
5.
Slide the first memory module from its socket and remove the module from the computer.
