If you ordered a wireless Mini Card with your computer, the card is already installed. Your computer supports three types of wireless Mini Cards: • Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) • Ultra Wide Band (UWB) • Mobile Broadband or Wireless Wide Area Network (WWAN) Removing a WLAN Card 1 Follow the procedures in "Before You Begin" on page 9. 2 Turn the computer over. 3 Loosen the two captive screws on the Mini Card module cover and remove the cover. 4 Disconnect the antenna cables from the WLAN card. NOTE: The gray antenna cable may not be available in all computers. The presence of the gray antenna cable in your Mini Card compartment depends upon the type of display. 36 Communication Cards

If you ordered a wireless Mini Card with your computer, the card is already

Turn the computer over.

Loosen the two captive screws on the Mini Card module cover and remove
the cover.

WLAN
card.
NOTE:
The gray antenna cable may not be available in all computers. The
presence of the gray antenna cable in your Mini Card compartment depends
upon the type of display.
