19 ExpressCard Reader CAUTION: Before performing the following procedures, follow the safety instructions in the Product Information Guide. NOTICE: To avoid electrostatic discharge, ground yourself by using a wrist grounding strap or by periodically touching a connector on the back panel of the computer. Removing the ExpressCard Reader 1 Follow the procedures in "Before You Begin" on page 9. 2 Remove any installed ExpressCards from the ExpressCard slot. 3 Remove the display assembly (see "Removing the Display Assembly" on page 63). 4 Remove the palm rest (see "Removing the Palm Rest" on page 75). 5 Remove the three M2 x 3-mm screws that secure the ExpressCard reader to the computer base. Removing the ExpressCard Reader

Follow the procedures in "Before You Begin" on page9.

Remove any installed ExpressCards from the ExpressCard slot.

Remove the display assembly (see "Removing the Display Assembly" on
page 63).

Remove the palm rest (see "Removing the Palm Rest" on page 75).
5
Remove the three M2 x 3-mm screws that secure the ExpressCard reader
to the computer base.
