ENGLISH 6 NEXT TRACK • It's now possible to select the beginning of the next track to be played while continuing playback of the current track without interrupting playback. *Crossfade can also be used for a smooth transition. qw FLIP CLR NEXT TR. /B TRIM A1 A2 A PARAMETERS PUSH B EXIT/ RELOOP QUICK JUMP TRACK SEARCH MP3 SEARCH MODE FAST SEARCH Enter Next Track mode q When the NEXT TR./B TRIM NEXT TR. /B TRIM button is pushed during playback, the NEXT TRACK function is turned on. • When this mode is set, CUE 1 button blink. • When the button is pushed again, the NEXT TRACK mode is turned off. • However, when seamless loop point B is set, the point B trim mode is selected. In this case press the button again to turn the trim mode off. Select the track w Turn the PARAMETERS knob and select for the 2-1 next track to be played. PARAMETERS PUSH e r t POWER ON OFF TITLE MEMO PRESET TIME CONT. /SINGLE TAP ECHO /LOOP AUTO FILTER DISC MODE ON : SCRATCH OFF : SEARCH/ BEND DRAG-S BRAKE RVS CUE CUE/STUTTER PLAY/PAUSE DISC EJECT TRACK SEARCH MP3 SEARCH MODE Select the MEMO e The CUE point of MEMO can be selected as NEXT TRACK. • When the NEXT TRACK with which MEMO is memorized is selected, the MEMO indicator lights up. 2-2 • If the MEMO button is pushed at this time, the CUE point is memorized as the NEXT TRACK & point to be selected. • The MEMO will be canceled if another track is selected by PARAMETERS knob or the MEMO button is pushed again. Track search start r When the CUE button is pushed after selecting the track, current playback CUE continues as the next track is searched for and the CUE/STUTTER standby mode is set. When the standby mode is set, the CUE button lights 3 up and the PLAY/PAUSE button flashes. • During this time, if a PLAY/PAUSE loop of 8 seconds or less is actively looping, it will continue to loop until PLAY is ultimately pressed. If a loop is over 8 sec, you must first EXIT from the loop in order to enter Next Tr mode. 12 • The time display indicates the remaining playback time for data in the memory after CUE is pressed. NOTE: The amount of time for which 3 playback of the currently continuing track can be continued is a maximum of 10 seconds from the time searching for the next track starts. 4-2 Next Track playback start t When the PLAY/PAUSE button is pushed, the 4-1 current playback is stopped and playback of the next track starts. PLAY/PAUSE ✽The currently playing track can be faded out when starting to play a different track. The fade out time can be selected at ⁄4 PRESET "(2) Next Track". • If the PLAY/PAUSE button is not pushed after standing by at the next track, (when in the CONT.) playback mode, playback of the next track starts once all of the currently playing playback data has been played. The DISC MODE button light up in orange. • If scratching is possible, the LED for the selected source flashes. [Start the Scratching] w When SCRATCH is selected as the Disc mode and Scratch Disc is turned by hand, the CD sound is 2 scratched. The stroke of a scratch can be selected at ⁄4 PRESET "(3) Scratch stroke". • Scratching may not possible immediately, because for example the disc memory has not been fully loaded yet. Stop the Scratching e When the SCRATCH DISC is released, scratch play stops and normal play or pause 3 mode is set. ✽The time after which the normal play or pause mode is set after scratch play stops can be selected at ⁄4 PRESET "(4) Scratch".
