note To play sound from a source, you must connect the audio cable to the correct audio output jack. For Stereo Mini-Jack Audio Output Ports Some video devices, especially camcorders, may have a stereo mini-jack audio output port. In this case, use a commercially available stereo mini-jack audio cable to connect to the projector: 1. Connect one end of the audio cable to the Audio jack corresponding to your video source. For example, if you've connected your video device to the projector's S-Video port, connect the adapter to the Audio jack next to it. When you switch the video source, the projector automatically plays sound from the new source. 2. Connect the other end of the cable to your video device's audio output port. Setting Up the Projector
For Stereo Mini-Jack Audio Output Ports
Some video devices, especially camcorders, may have a stereo
mini-jack audio output port. In this case, use a commercially available
stereo mini-jack audio cable to connect to the projector:
1.
Connect one end of the audio cable to the
Audio
jack
corresponding to your video source. For example, if you’ve
connected your video device to the projector’s
S-Video
port,
connect the adapter to the
Audio
jack next to it.
2.
Connect the other end of the cable to your video device’s audio
output port.
If you don’t need to make any other connections, you can plug in
your projector and turn it on. See page 32 for instructions.
