Customizing MovieMate You can limit children's access, improve the sound, adjust the picture, and customize other features of MovieMate. Many of these settings are available through the Setup menus, which you can accesss by pressing the Setup button on the remote control (when a DVD is not playing). Setting Parental Controls You can set parental controls to prevent children from viewing inappropriate video material. 1. When a DVD is not playing, press the button on the remote control. You see the LANGUAGE Setup menu: 2. Press to highlight and display the OTHERS Setup menu. 3. Press to highlight Parental Lock, then press to select it. 4. Press to highlight one of the settings, then press to view your options. 5. Press to select the option you want, then press to save it. To return to the previous menu level, press . You can select from the following options for Parental Lock: ■ COUNTRY CODE: Select US. ■ SET LEVEL: The smaller the number, the greater the restriction. If you want to disable Parental Lock, select NONE. ■ PASSWORD: Set the toggle switch on the remote control to the -123 position, then enter a 4-digit number using the numeric buttons. Press to save the password. Once a password is set, you will need to enter it before you can change the Parental Lock settings. If the wrong password is entered three times, the menu closes.
