Storing MovieMate Follow these guidelines when storing MovieMate: ■ Make sure the temperature and humidity of the storage area are within the recommended range for the projector: 14 to 140 °F (-10 to 60 °C) and 10 to 90% relative humidity without condensation. ■ Attach the lens cover. ■ Remove the batteries from the remote control. ■ Package MovieMate in its original packaging or equivalent (as described in the following section). Transporting MovieMate Note: Epson shall not be liable for any damages incurred during transportation. MovieMate contains many glass and precision parts. If you need to transport it, follow these guidelines to prevent damage: ■ When shipping MovieMate for repairs, use the original packaging material if possible. If you do not have the original packaging, use equivalent materials, placing plenty of cushioning around MovieMate. Be sure the carrier is capable of transporting fragile equipment and is aware that MovieMate is fragile. Remove the lens cover and wrap it separately. ■ If you move MovieMate from a cold environment into a warm room, condensation (moisture) may form internally or on the lens surface. To avoid damage that might be caused by condensation, wait approximately an hour before using MovieMate. If condensation forms, turn on the main power switch, then wait an hour or two before use. ■ When you are hand-carrying MovieMate, remove all discs, close the tray, and make sure the lens cover is securely in place.
