US 34 Changing pre-set options CA Wash temperature Controlled Cold If the temperature of your cold water supply is very low and you choose to do a COLD wash, you will not get an effective wash. The CONTROLLED COLD option solves this problem by adding a small amount of hot water to raise the temperature of the wash to approximately 68°F (20°C). 1 Enter Option Adjustment mode (refer to page 32). 2 Select the REGULAR cycle. 3 Select COLD wash temperature by touching the WASH TEMP button (if not already selected). 4 The digital display shows the temperature adjustment possible. The default setting is "tAP", which is the same temperature as the incoming water from the cylinder for cold water. ■■ Touch the MORE button so "0" is displayed. Your washer will now adjust the cold temperature to approximately 68°F (20°C). Warm water is needed to help maintain the cleanliness of your machine.
