Playing Audio Through the Vehicle's Speakers Playing Audio Through the Vehicle's Speakers Before using the FM transmitter in your area, see the FM transmitter legal notice on page 52. If an FM transmitter is available on your nüvi, you can listen to your nüvi audio on an FM stereo. note: When using the FM transmitter function on the nüvi, any phone calls that you place or receive through the nüvi might be overheard by adjacent vehicles through the FM stereo. Manually Tuning the FM Transmitter If you are not using an FM traffic receiver or you are using an MSN Direct receiver, select an FM channel for the FM transmitter. 1. From the Menu page, touch Volume > FM Trans > Enable FM Transmitter. 2. Tune your stereo to an FM channel that has a lot of static and has a low FM frequency number. 3. Touch and to select the same frequency to which your stereo is tuned. Auto Tuning the FM Transmitter If you are using an FM traffic receiver, the nüvi can select a channel for you. 1. From the Menu page, touch Volume > FM Trans > Enable FM Transmitter. 2. If you are using a traffic receiver, touch Auto Tune.
