PREFACE Unit Overview GXM 30 XM Smart Antenna PREFACE USB Connector Antenna Care Cleaning-The antenna's case does not require user maintenance other than cleaning. Clean the antenna housing using a lightly-dampened cloth with a mild detergent solution, and then wipe dry. Avoid chemical cleaners and solvents that might damage plastic components. Do not apply cleaner to the electrical contacts on the front of the antenna. Mounting Holes Storage-Do not store the GXM 30 where exposure to temperature extremes might occur, because this can damage the GXM 30. Servicing Your Antenna The GXM 30 has no user-serviceable parts. If you encounter a problem with your unit, take it to an authorized Garmin dealer for repairs. Magnetic Base The GXM 30 is fastened shut with screws.
