6-1-2 Configuring S/PDIF In/Out A. S/PDIF In The S/PDIF In cable (optional) allows you to input digital audio signals to the computer for audio processing. 1. Connecting a S/PDIF In Cable: Connect a S/PDIF in cable to the SPDIF_IN header on the motherboard as shown below. 2. Configuring S/PDIF In: On the Digital Input screen, click the Default Format tab and then select the sample rate and bit depth. Click OK to complete. - 111 - Appendix

Configuring S/PDIF In/Out
A. S/PDIF In
The S/PDIF In cable (optional) allows you to input digital audio signals to the computer for audio processing.
1. Connecting a S/PDIF In Cable:
Connect a S/PDIF in cable to the SPDIF_IN header on the motherboard as shown below.
2. Configuring S/PDIF In:
On the
Digital Input
screen, click the
Default Format
tab and then select the sample rate and bit depth. Click
OK
to complete.
