Set up and use email Gmail Gmail is Google's web-based email service and is automatically configured the first time you turn on your HTC Inspire 4G. Mail Use the Mail application to set up Internetbased (like Yahoo!, AOL, or Hotmail) and corporate email accounts (Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync Server) on your device: Send email 1. �F�r�o�m��t�h�e��H�o��m��e�s�c�r�e�e�n��, t�a�p� > Mail. 2. If you have several email accounts, choose the account you want to use. 3. Tap Compose mail. 4. �I�n��t�h�e� To field: • Enter email addresses, separating them with a comma. As you type, matching contacts are displayed. Tap a contact to select it. • Tap to choose contacts or groups. Tap OK. 5. �E�n�t�e�r��th��e��e�m��a�il�s�u��b�je��c�t,�a��n�d��th��e�n��c�o�m��p�o�s�e� your message. 6. �T�o��a�d�d��a�n��a�t�t�a�c�h�m��e�n��t,�p��re��s�s Menu and tap Add attachment. 7. �T�a�p� Send. Connect a Bluetooth® headset You can listen to music over a Bluetooth stereo headset or have hands-free conversations using a compatible Bluetooth headset. 1. �T�u�r�n��o�n��t�h�e� Bluetooth headset that you want to connect with. Set it to discoverable mode. Refer to the headset documentation to learn how to turn discoverable mode on. 2. �O��n��y�o�u�r��d�e�v�i�c�e�,�p��re��s�s Home > Menu, and then tap Settings > Wireless & networks. 3. �S�e��le�c��t�t�h�e� Bluetooth check box. 4. �T�a�p� Bluetooth settings > Scan for devices. 5. �T�a�p��t�h�e��n�a�m��e��o�f��th��e�s�t�e�r�e�o��o��r �h�a�n��d�s�-�fr�e�e� headset in the Bluetooth devices section. Your device then automatically attempts to pair with the headset. 6. �I�f�a��u�t�o�m��a��ti�c��p�a��ir�i�n�g��f�a�i�ls�,��e�n�t�e�r��t�h�e� passcode supplied in your headset documentation. When the Bluetooth headset is connected to your device, you'll see in the status bar. You can now start using the headset to listen to music and/or make and receive phone calls. 17
