1. Installation of water drainpipes
l
Diameter of water drainpipes should exceed or be equal to that of connecting pipe.
(Polyethylene pipe: inside diameter 25mm and outside diameter 32mm.)
l
Water drainpipe should be short with a gradient of at least 1/100.
l
If required gradient cannot be reached, a riser tube should be installed.
l
A space of 1 to 1.5m must be maintained between every two hanger rods.
l
Ancillary water hose and clips are used.
Insert water hose into the drain opening until white tape is reached.
Keep tightening the clip until the space between bolt end and water hose is less
than 4mm.
l
Tie the water hose to the cable clips with the sealing tape.
l
Apply insulation tape on the water hose inside the room.
Cautions for riser pipe installation
l
Height of the riser pipe for water drain should be less than 280mm.
l
The riser pipe should be at a 90° angle to the indoor unit with a space of 300mm in between.
*
Note
*
l
Gradient of water drainpipe should be less than 75mm and no excessive force should be
applied on the faucet of the water drainpipe.
l
If more than one water hose is to be installed in the same area, the pipes can be integr-
ated as follows.
Pipes used for water drain integration should be of proper specifications to satisfy the req-
uirements of the unit performance.
