Overflowing coffee and hot water are a burn hazard. This coffeemaker can be used with pod-type coffee or tea pods. It is not recommended for use with espresso pods. 1. Plug in coffeemaker. 2. Lift reservoir lid and slide out brew basket. Place ONE coffee or tea pod into brew basket. (Illus. 1.) (Illus. 1) Make sure pod is centered and flat in brew basket. 3. Fill serving cup 12 ounces (350 ml) of cold water. (Illus. 2.) NOTE: Once the START button is pressed, the unit will brew for one cycle. (Illus. 2) If the START button has been pressed with no water in the reservoir, allow the unit to complete one brew cycle and the Power ON Indicator Light will go out. If the brew cycle needs to be stopped during brewing, unplug the unit. 5
