Controlling security Determining who can use the digital sender The administrator determines who can use the digital sender: only registered users (those with a user profile) or both registered users and guest users. To determine who can use the digital sender 1 Start the HP JetAdmin software. 2 In the device list, click the digital sender. 3 Click Device and then click Modify. 4 In the Configuration window, click Security. 5 Use the Allow guest users field to indicate your preference (anyone or only registered users). 6 Click OK. Note Changing or setting administrator password You can change the administrator password using the control panel, the ABM, or the HP JetAdmin software. The administrator password is case-sensitive. To change or set administrator password using the control panel 1 Make sure the digital sender is idle (the green light under the button is off). 2 At the control panel, press SHIFT+ALT+ . 3 If an administrator password is already required, the HP 9100C Login dialog box appears. Type the password and press OK. 4 When the configuration menu appears, select Administrator Password and then press OK. 5 Type the old administrator password and press . 6 Type the new password and press . 7 Type the new password again and press CONFIRM. 8 Press SAVE to save the password and exit the menu. 100 Chapter 3 - Administering EN

Determining who can use the digital sender
The administrator determines who can use the digital sender:
only

To determine who can use the digital sender
