By using a 12V infrastructure, HP eliminated several power-related components and improved power efficiency on the server blades and in the infrastructure. The control circuitry was stripped and put on the management board and fans. NOTE The c7000 power module in the bottom rear of the enclosure determines whether the enclosure operates on single-phase AC, three-phase AC, or DC power. This choice is available when the enclosure is ordered.
