Separate the display from the computer, that secure the display to the computer.

1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 23). 2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 23). 3. Disconnect the battery cable from the system board (see Battery on page 24). Remove the display assembly: 1. Disconnect the antenna cables from the WLAN module (1), and then remove the cables from the clips. 2. Disconnect the display cable from the system board (2), and then remove the cable from the clip (3). 3. Disconnect the camera cable from the system board (4), and then remove the cable from the clip (5). 4. Remove the four Phillips M2.5 × 4.5 screws (1) that secure the display to the computer. 5. Open the computer to open the hinges (2). 6. Separate the display from the computer (3). 7. If you need to remove the display panel: a.
